1891-1935

This collection (1891-1913, 1935, undated) contains clippings, signed petitions, correspondence, field notes and blueprints relating to Big Cold Water Creek Drainage District in Cabarrus Co., to the Hazel Creek section of Swain and Graham counties and to North Carolina Fisheries Committee activities (re oysters and fish) affecting mainly northeastern North Carolina--especially Ocracoke and also Pamlico and Dare counties. There are indications that the material may have originated with N.C. State Geologist Joseph Hyde Pratt.
